Mr. Benter got some nice coverage by the AP!
It's awesome what [NITARP has] done over these 20 years. They definitely have a passion for teaching
There are lots of different opportunities and so many different avenues you can take to work in astronomy and science in general.
NITARP also gave me a lot of confidence to explore other projects and other ways to do professional development. It's given me a lot of ways to further explore astronomy, and it's given me the confidence to do that.
I've enjoyed working with NITARP teachers and seeing just how talented they are and how passionate they are about what they teach and about their kids. They want to learn as much as they can here so that they can go and make their classrooms better.
Being a mentor teacher is easy because these teachers are fantastic. They're just off and running with the project.
