August 2015 updates for Ms. Young August 5, 2015
Ms. Young recently gave a NITARP workshop to 25 teachers at Ridgway Christian School. Teachers learned about the research being conducted by her and her students and learned about the basics of AGN and bringing authentic research into the classroom. Young also talked about the application process and encouraged those interested to apply!
July 2015 updates for Ms. Young July 23, 2015
Ms. Young is one of three Arkansas state finalists for the Presidential Award in Education for Math and Science Teachers. The overall state award for the science section will be announced later in the year. Overall state awardees receive $10,000 and are flown to Washington DC to meet the president and attend an award ceremony.
