The HIPS AGaiN (Hidden in Plain Sight AGaiN) team will be using archival surveys for stellar variability to detect variability in active galactic nuclei (AGN) in the background.
I now have scientific street cred with my students!
There was a nice group of people around each poster [from NITARP 2011]. The students were all very well-prepared and gave a fabulous presentation! They all fielded questions very well. It was very, very impressive to see!
[NITARP] is an amazing program you’ve put together! I feel like you’ve given us the keys, and we’ve got a license to explore the universe.
