This virtual team collects all independent research presented in 2014, and done by NITARP or Spitzer alumni with (or without) students outside of a formal NITARP team.
My takeaway lesson is that the students are much more tolerant of "issues" that make the research projects difficult to carry out and are generally content to be involved and learning something new.
Astronomers, all of whom are scientists, can be personal, funny, and outright social beings.
I now have scientific street cred with my students!
