January 2026 updates for Mr. Keeton

Mr. Keeton writes:

I wanted to share a pretty special moment for me that took place last week. The high school student (at the time of the NITARP experience) that I had the privilege of working with over the year span, reached out via social media wanting to see if we could connect and catch up. It had been about 12 years since Will and I had met, let alone seen each other, so needless to say our 90 minutes went by quickly.

Needless to say, the NITARP experience had a profound impact on Will.  He finished his undergrad and graduate studies at UW-Madison (go Big Red) and secured 2 wonderful internships (one at NASA at the JSC and the other with Tesla), along with working on the WEMPEC team.  Upon completion of his graduate work in astrophysics and engineering, he was selected to join the NASA Pathways program (internship) at Glenn, ultimately landing him a full time, professional job there as an Aerospace Engineer.  He currently is focusing his time and expertise studying Thermal Performance and Management along with Super-Conduction!

We had coffee and caught up...

Another awesome testimonial for the importance and impact on NITARP!

Way to go, Will! :)
