Ms. Granucci writes that she led a workshop at Southern Connecticut State University on NGSS Standards on Modeling. She shared her experience about the NITARP Program and taught teachers how to use a model to make predictions. She used the H-R Diagram as a model and taught teachers how to identify types of stars from real data from the SDSS. They also talked about interpreting graphs. The materials from the workshop are still online.
She also made a presentation at the Board of Education meeting at Oxford. She presented their project, findings and program to the Oxford School District.
She also writes that her team from last year, CM4SY, is still working on the same project. They are working on a Color Magnitude Diagram for AGN, expanding our data from just seyferts, to both seyferts and QSOs. They are raising money to come to the Seattle AAS.
