This virtual team collects all independent research presented in 2013, and done by NITARP or Spitzer alumni with students outside of a formal NITARP team. In 2013, we have one article in The Physics Teacher, and one poster on young stars.
Seeing and hearing about scientists at work, on different projects, brought to life the reality of scientists doing scientific work.
It's really fun to do this project, not just by myself, but with a student.
Student involvement in authentic research is an idea whose time has come.
