My robotics students are very wowed by the fact that I met a flight director for the Mars Curiosity Rover.
It was very satisfying to be able to converse with the grad students about their science and actually understand what they were talking about.
I knew nothing about the online archives before this experience. Now I am quite familiar with them, and I have even used them a few times for reasons unrelated to NITARP. I am certain I’ll continue to use this resource going forward.
