Since June 2023 I have accepted a new position as Education Program Specialist at Clark Planetarium in Salt Lake City. My primary responsibility is to travel to 4th and 6th grade classes throughout Utah to present lessons on the Science with Engineering Education (SEEd) standards. I got to help out with events surrounding the return of the OSIRIS-REx sample return capsule to Utah's west desert, and was responsible for packaging and distributing 122,000 pairs of solar eclipse glasses to all 6th grade students in Utah in preparation for the Oct. 2023 annular eclipse. I am also All But Dissertation on my Ed.D. degree and am conducting a research study on student-created digital media projects in science education.
