May 2020 updates for Mr. Taylor

Published: May 26, 2020

Mr. Taylor writes:

In the Fall of 2018, Mr. Taylor took a position as the Museum Director and interim CEO at the ETHOS Innovation Center in Northern Indiana, and currently works as the Director of STEM Education. After 26 years in the classroom, he still supports his local Elkhart Community Schools system by mentoring teachers (science and research) and is on the design team for the new ECS Engineering Technology and Innovation pathways school.

Mr. Taylor gave talks about NITARP, and mentoring peers to conduct research with their students, at the HASTI (Hoosier Science Teacher) Conference in Indianapolis for the January 2019 and 2020 meetings. He also has incorporated a NITARP flair to summer astronomy camps.

The application period is now closed for NITARP 2022. We will release our selection for the 2022 class at the 2022 January AAS.
