Ms. Morgan writes:
If it wasn't for NITARP, I would not have been able to competently mentor students on an astronomy project for the International Science and Engineering Fair which led them to receiving a scholarship and helped them beat out 500 other students for a coveted job at their college's planetarium and inspired them to continue studying astronomy!
Because of NITARP, I felt confident in sharing astronomy related data, specifically IRSA resources, during a professional development workshop on "Deep Diving with Data in the Classroom" at the Utah Science Teachers Association conference in Provo, UT on February 8, 2019.
