May 2017 updates for Ms. Sartore

Published: May 17, 2017

Ms. Sartore writes:

After 35 gratifying years teaching in Florida's public schools, retirement in 2015 lasted all of 1 year. Just as I began to look for adjunct work in local colleges, a position at Kennedy Space Center came to my attention.   Now working as an Education Specialist for KSC, my time is divided between teacher training, STEM engagement for K-12 students, community outreach, and launch support.   [My NITARP student] Kaelyn Badura completed her mechanical engineering degree at Florida State University. She has been working in her field in New Mexico since her graduation.

The application period is now closed for NITARP 2024. We will release our selection for the 2024 class at the 2024 January AAS.
