Kathryn O'Connor is now teaching an astronomy class at Lokelani Intermediate School. She is also one of the amature astronomers at the Hyatt Regency Maui. They do a program called "Tour of the Stars." They have a 14'' and an 11'' Celestron telescopes and they talk to tourists and locals about the science of the celestial objects that are in the sky that night as well as the Hawaiian legends and way finding. She adds, "It is really a dream part time job! I am lucky to get to educate my students in astronomy and adults as well at Tour of the Stars!"
