Russ Laher has helped out NITARP (and Spitzer program) teams since the beginning. Inspired by a need he saw in these teams, he wrote a tool called the Aperture Photometry Tool (APT). He has now published two articles describing APT and demonstrating its research-quality performance. While not directly involving any NITARP teachers or students in the author list (though NITARP mentor scientists are included), we include these papers as part of NITARP's accomplishments! This tool is used by several NITARP teams, and can be downloaded from http://aperturephotometry.org/.
