Ms. Powers and her students and went before the school board, and the club got travel approval for the Summer. They were also honored for getting into two research programs, (they are just finishing up with MESDT) and for NITARP, and for Ms. Powers' involvement with the Solar System Ambassadors. Their picture was taken, and they got a certificate. The school newspaper and the local newspaper are both doing articles. Here is one of the local articles (attempted pdf capture here).
